Access - It's all about losing our right to roam

Currently under Scottish law, anyone can walk through the dunes and rough grass areas around Menie - provided they behave responsibly.

Golf courses are treated differently - although people have a right of access they do not have freedom to roam - understandably from the golf course view point. This is a provision designed to protect existing golf courses. The Trump environmental statement makes it clear that this will be applied to the Trump development and access will be restricted.
